About Quotes
When creating an official invoice is not an option, you can provide your client with a quote that can be later converted into an invoice.
Customizing Quotes
Invoices in Blesta can be customized under Settings > Company > Billing/Payment > Invoice Customization. You can change the following:
- Quote Format
- Quote Start Value
- Quote Increment Value
Creating Quotes
Some notes about creating invoices:
- Multiple line items may be added by clicking the “Add” link next to a line item. A new line item will appear below the one selected.
- Line items may be re-arranged by drag-n-drop.
- Setting the “Date Expires” will cause the quote to be invalid and not able to be approved by the client after that date.
- When creating a new quote, your work is saved periodically as a draft. In the event of a browser crash, the quote can be recovered under drafts.
Once created, quotes can be approved by the client:
